By the way, we use an electronic smart cooker (similar to rice cooker) to cook porridge, using the pre-set timer function. Porridge is cooked in about 1 hour, ready at the time we indicate.
Joyce says: I wash the millet with the red rice and then I oven dry it. After that, I use the dry mill to grind it slightly. I am beginning to use coarser grains now that she is bigger. Soon, I might omit the grinding step altogether.
Oh, I have heard about the electronic smart cookers…makes it really easy to cook huh? But right now, since Hannah is not taking a lot yet, I don’t really need to use a whole pot to cook it for her. Just a small little claypot will do.
